This place is much more than just a school. It is a living, breathing, and growing community that develops conscious, proactive, and globally enriched people. My experience monumentally changed my life forever. (2007 graduate).
My older daughter has already completed the middle school and high school tracks, while my younger daughter is about to complete the same. Both of them have found the curriculum challenging and the teachers supportive of students. Classes are small enough to receive individualized attention, which allows all students to grow and prepares them well for college.
Wonderful school. My son has attended SAS for 2 years now and the curriculum and attention provided at this school have helped him flourish in ways we couldn't imagine. There is no doubt that we have made the right decision in choosing SAS for his high school education.
All other reviews are fake news (half of the eight people that reviewed the school are faculty members). There is a history of troubling and false accusations by incompetent faculty members against innocent and upstanding students. I once knew a student who several teachers claimed had sexually assaulted his roommate despite a staggering lack of evidence. I knew another student who was nearly suspended for animal abuse although he never came into contact with any animal. In terms of education, I can tell you that it certainly is not worth the tuition money. The surrounding town is a safe haven for people that are too afraid to live in the real world. Don't even get me started on the athletics.
Such an awesome place. The teachers are so supportive of the students and want to be a part of their lives, no matter their situation.
