After a motorcycle accident, I was transported to the Sewanee Hospital ER. They determined that my knee was broken. After leaving the ER, I was in the waiting area and began to feel much worse. The head nurse spotted me and helped me check in for the night. The nursing staff was consistently good. With a soft cast and considerable pain it was very difficult for me to do anything for myself. The nursing staff was smart and friendly. The doctors were good, too.
Very awful staff, said awful things to my brother when he had serious stomach issues. Said issues were because of cooking meth, or because he had a bad shot. I do not appreciate the snide comments, will not be returning.
A very clean, professional environment. Very knowledgeable staff. Excellent service. A great little community hospital. I was very impressed.
